MediaAwareness Network, Canada
The Media Awareness Network (MNet) is a not-for-profit organisation that is home
to a comprehensive collection of media education and Internet literacy
resources. MNet's purpose is to enable people to "read" the messages that
inform, entertain and sell to us on a daily basis, with a critical eye. This is
facilitated through promoting an understanding of how the media work, how the
media may affect lifestyle choices and the extent to which consumers and
citizens are being well informed.
